Focus on common ground

Reading @Mick ’s latest post reminded me of a conversation I had with a stranger earlier in the week.

I was walking the dog at the coast and found myself leaning on a promenade railing admiring the birdlife clustered around the rocks, mainly waders, gulls and cormorants.
