A house guest who comes to stay for a couple of weeks every summer. I feel sad that she is caged, so I open the door whenever I’m working beside her on my laptop. She seems to enjoy my company as much as I enjoy hers. Then she goes back into her cage when she is ready.

Diesel touching $7/gal in metro Seattle. The Indian casino where I get gas is over $5/gal for regular unleaded, with the option of ~$5.50/gal for ethanol-free unleaded. I bought one tank of this and got amazing mileage. Since then it’s not much better than regular unleaded, so guessing it’s a scam, or…
