It’s Not Too Late

Over recent years, I pinned a list called It’s Not Too Late to the top of my Twitter feed.

People regularly tell me how useful they’ve found it. Some use it as their phone’s lock screen or even have a printed version stuck to their fridge door!

However, I deleted all my mainstream social media accounts at the end of 2024 (Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).

So — like my Link Tree — I’ve now published it on this site and the list lives on below.

Feel free to share the list far and wide…copy and paste it…whatever you like!

[the list is regularly updated, so come back every now and then to see if it’s changed]

It’s not too late to:

  • pay attention
  • question everything
  • accept that we are Nature too
  • help lay the path for species to survive
  • help improve our corners of the world
  • prioritise time with our loved ones
  • focus on common ground
  • decentre whiteness
  • decentre men
  • be creative
  • listen
  • learn
  • slow down
  • contemplate
  • where possible, stop

  1. I’ve been meaning to express my appreciation for this list. The standard environmentalist non-fiction trope of ‘it’s not too late’ is so exhausting and patently false I was chary of reading yours, but so relieved I have. Your list is exactly what must be done if we’re serious about avoiding what’s coming. Which we aren’t, of course, but it’s nice to find fellow travelers wherever they are. 🙂

    1. Thank you, my fellow traveller. Most kind and I’m very glad you approve. Although I don’t feel we can avoid what’s coming, I hope these suggestions help to soften the blow at the very least.
